INTRODUCTION
For young Canadian students, there is no place like school. Canada is well-known for its good quality of public school system: friendly teachers, world-class curriculum, and comfortable classroom. 

Hanwood Schooling Program provides an opportunity to experience Canadian schools and to improve English efficiently for young international students. Schooling Program considers English Immersion setting to get maximum result of English improvement through their stay in Canada. Participating in a regular Canadian classroom and staying with Canadian host family, students can improve their English as they have to communicate only in English during their stay.

PROGRAM DETAILS

• Period: 2 ~ 10 months
• Age: Grade 5 ~ Grade 9
• Placement: Regular classroom in Canadian public school
• Host family: classmate home, school buddy home, normal Canadian home
• School options: Winnipeg, Calgary, Edmonton, Halifax

PROGRAM FEATURES
English immersion – participating in regular class and stay with Canadian host family
Under one-student-one-classroom policy, student can experience challenging but perfect English immersion setting. Young students can also choose to stay in a home with the same age and gender student who studies in the same classroom.

Placement area – low population of Korean and Chinese students
To guarantee English Immersion, Hanwood choose areas and schools where Korean and Chinese students and immigrants are few.

Limiting the number of application
As the difficulty in finding host family who meet our Program requirement, Hanwood only accept limited number of application in a year. The maximum number of acceptable application is changing every year depending on recruitment results of participating host family.

Excellent school and responsible host family
Hanwood place students to main cities and suburban towns in Canada: convenient, safe and peaceful residential areas. Schools are excellent and host families are friendly.

• Long-term (10 months): starting 1st Monday of February and September
