NEW BRUNSWICK PROVINCIAL NOMINEE PROGRAM (NBPNP)
Qualified applicants will receive a New Brunswick Provincial Nomination, which will expedite permanent resident application process.
NBPNP provides two categories of immigration:
- Skilled Worker with Employer Support
- Skilled Worker with Family Support
- Business Applicants
Skilled Worker with Employer Support
To be considered for permanent residence through NBPNP:
- Permanent full-time job offer from New Brunswick employer
- The work offered is in an area of skill shortage
- The job offer meets New Brunswick employment standard
- The job offer must provide comparable industry rate of pay
- Skilled worker have all of the qualifications and/or licenses needed to fulfill the job duties
- Skilled worker obtain a score of 50 or higher in the selection criteria
Family Support
Eligible applicants are:
- Daughter or son
- Step-daughter or step-son
- Sister or brother
- Step-sister or step-brother
- Sister-in-law or brother-in-law
- Niece or nephew
- Grandchild
Both the applicant and the family supporter will be assessed.
The applicant needs an offer of full-time employment or employment skills based on education and training, language skills, work experience, age and ability to adapt to New Brunswick, surrounded by a supportive family.
The supporter is to be assessed on commitment to the immigration process and the successful settlement of their family member. Their connection to New Brunswick is also be evaluated.
Business Applicants
Business applicants must submit a Business Plan or Business Proposal that is of economic benefit to New Brunswick. A Business Plan details how applicants will develop and operate a specific business in New Brunswick. A Business Proposal may be submitted as an alternative to a formal business plan if applicants require more time to explore business opportunities before choosing a specific business.
Eligibility requirements for Business Applicants:
- Demonstrate business management experience as an owner or senior manager
- Provide strong evidence that you will live in New Brunswick with your dependents, establish a business in New Brunswick and assume an active managerial role in the business
- Visit New Brunswick for a period of no less than five business days, to conduct extensive research and complete an interview with an Immigration Program Officer
- Business plan or business proposal must be of economic benefit to New Brunswick, and must be approved by an Immigration Officer
- Provide a verified personal net worth (value of total assets, less the value of total liabilities) of at least CDN $300,000.00
- Minimum investment of CDN $125,000.00
- Demonstrate knowledge of English and/or French
- Prior to nomination, conditionally refundable deposit of CDN $75,000
